I created Fine Balance Counselling & Yoga Therapy to offer a safe space for compassionate and transformative care.
Since 2004, I’ve been helping clients live fuller, more connected lives. I believe in the principle of interdependence — that we are all connected.
I offer both virtual and in-person sessions in Vancouver. My approach combines client-centered counselling and personalized yoga therapy to support you on your journey to healing and recovery.
As you go through different stages of life, Fine Balance helps you heal from somatic, physiological, and emotional trauma. My goal is to help you reconnect with yourself, your community, and live life to its fullest.

My services
Clinical Counselling
I offer counselling with the belief that even when life feels really hard, healing and growth are possible. I believe we all have inner strength—even if it doesn’t always feel that way.
I support people who are dealing with trauma, anxiety, depression, burnout, grief and loss, substance use, relationship struggles, life changes, and the effects of systemic oppression.
With over a decade of experience, I’ve supported trauma survivors, including people healing from sexual assault and first responders offering culturally sensitive care during tough times.
Yoga Therapy
Many people I work with in counselling find that yoga therapy supports their healing. Some people also come to see me just for yoga therapy.
My trauma-informed yoga therapy sessions are designed for people who have been through challenging or traumatic experiences. These sessions can be a helpful addition to talk therapy and may support healing from chronic pain, stress, mental health struggles, trauma and substance use.
